2009 Department Retreat
The 12th Annual Structural Biology Retreat will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at the Quadrus Conference Center, located just south of campus on Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park (directions).
This year's retreat will be an all-day event, from 8am to 8pm. Over the years, the retreat has grown into an essential element of the Structural Biology experience. With each lab presenting on its research for the benefit of the other groups, it is a unique opportunity for first-hand peer review, as well as for developing new relationships and collaborations. A complete schedule of the day's events is forthcoming.
Thanks to the efforts of all of those who make it happen, particularly our venerable Manolia Margaris, this event is a consistent highlight of the academic year. We look forward to a large turnout and a memorable time for all. See you then.
